Healthy Weight Loss Diet Tips

If you want to lose weight, I have some quick tips for you, but first I want you to write down your ultimate goal WHY you want to lose weight. For example, to wear my favorite dress, to be physically fit and play sports, to gain confidence, etc. I know you have your own reason, so write it down and never lose sight of that goal.

Why am I asking you to do this? Well, a lot of people just quit too soon and without a STRONG motivation, you will soon become one of them. Just DO it. Now, on to some quick healthy weight loss diet tips:

  • Drink 8 glasses of water a day. I know, it's very basic, but this is often missed. Don't drink cold water; room temperature is fine.
  • Eat fresh fruits and/or drink fresh fruit juices for overall health. Aside from the fact that these are nutritious, they're a great source of fiber perfect for detoxification. One of your main goals should be to eliminate toxins from your body. You know why that tummy is bulging? It's full of waste that should have been eliminated and continued to be eliminated every day.
  • Eat more vegetables too. They're rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and fiber too! Do not overcook veggies, just steam or boil for a few minutes; otherwise, eat them fresh.
  • Replace junk potato chips with seeds and nuts. Unsalted nuts, pumpkin seeds, flaxseed, almonds, cashews, walnuts, etc. They add natural fats and fiber to your diet.
  • A healthy weight loss diet plan includes extra virgin olive oil and beans too. Make sure to chew the beans well for proper digestion.

It really makes sense to first get rid of unwanted substances from the body if your desire is to lose weight. Detox, for me, is the first step in a healthy weight loss diet program. Nutrients from the food you eat can only be properly absorbed in a clean body.
